Terms of Sale: All goats must be picked up at the farm and be paid in full via cash (no checks) at time of pick up. All goats listed for sale are healthy at the time of sale. It is the buyers responsibility to check the goat for illness, defects, or injury at the time of sale. Once the goat leaves our possession, it is the buyers responsibility for any illnesses or injuries. We do not guarantee the future health of the animals (scurs, milk production, fertility, etc.) once they leave our property. We follow the Recommended Trade Practices for Members as outlined in the ADGA Guidebook. Goats are herd animals and must have at least one other goat friend, therefore we do not sell goats singly unless you already own goats. Due to biosecurity reasons, once a goat leaves our farm, it cannot be returned.
A 25% NONREFUNDABLE deposit is required to hold any animal more than 24 hours. Deposits must be made through PayPal, and the remaining balance paid in cash at pickup. Goats must be picked up within 7 days of the placement of deposit, unless previously discussed. If you do not pick the goat up at the prearranged date and time, your deposit will be forfeited and the goat will be relisted for sale. By purchasing or putting a non refundable deposit down on a goat from Hummingbird Hilltop Farm, you are agreeing to these terms.
